United States Department of State - Trafficking in Persons Report (TPR)
The United States Department of State prepares the Trafficking in Persons Report (TPR) using information from US Embassies, foreign government officials, nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) and international organisations, published reports, research trips to every region, and information submitted by NGOs and individuals. US diplomatic posts report on the trafficking situation and governmental action based on research, including meetings with government officials, local and international NGO representatives, officials of international organisations, journalists, academics, and survivors.
