The Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal – Index of Economic Freedom (HER)
Since 1995 The Heritage Foundation, a Washington-based think tank, and The Wall Street Journal (HER) have tracked economic freedom around the world through the Index of Economic Freedom. The Index gauges the economic success of the world’s nations through a series of 10 broad factors of economic freedom: Business Freedom; Trade Freedom; Monetary Freedom; Government Size; Fiscal Freedom; Property Rights; Investment Freedom; Financial Freedom; Freedom from Corruption and Labour Freedom.
