Together for Sudan is a UK-based charity which focuses on the health and education of women and children in Sudan. The charity oversees a number of important projects, including the provision of university scholarships to female students, teacher training and support, school scholarships to AIDS-affected children, women’s literacy classes, and an initiative to provide prescription glasses and/or cataract surgery to those in need, amongst others. Organisations such as Together for Sudan are vital in providing ordinary Sudanese with the skills and means to overcome the complex developmental issues of the country.

The Mo Ibrahim Foundation provides 40 scholarships annually to female students in all faculties in universities in Sudan, with a particular emphasis on business studies.
