In this section you can see all available data for the Ibrahim Index.
In the graphical analysis section you can see index data presented graphically on three axes. You can choose to plot different indicators against each other and view historical data as well.
You can also choose to view all the countries in one particular region.
In the tables by country section you can select countries to view detailed data for them. You can also compare up to ten countries or a specific region in Africa.
In the tables by category section you can view detailed data for every category for every country. This section also provides detailed definitions of the indicators, sub-categories and categories. You will also be able to find the raw data for each indicator here.
Please note:
Throughout the scores and rankings section of the Ibrahim Index, you may sometimes notice the value 0*. This means that no data is available for that data point, and it is not the true value for that country in that year.
For the purposes of the graphs, a value of 0* has been allocated to missing data points to enable an approximate visual representation. It should be noted, however, that this is not representative of the situation in that country, in that year for the indicator.
To produce the IIAG score the data was normalised, transforming them to a scale of 0 to 100, where 100 is always the best score possible.
The Ibrahim Index is compiled using indicators based on Expert Assessment (EA) or Official Data (OD).
